For some reason, I tend to crave sushi on the daily, so recently, a friend and I decided to have a quick lunch at Bento & Noodles Japanese Cuisine in Eastlake. We walked in and were greeted, then seated right away. This spot isn’t big, but it also isn’t too small; there are a handful of sushi places that pack their restaurants with as many tables as they can in order to have as many customers as possible – but Bento & Noodles is not like that.

Besides the food, one great thing about this place is its welcoming atmosphere. There is always a regular menu in addition to a special menu where new items are offered. The sushi and bento boxes range from $8-$13, but they also offer noodle and rice specials, along with vegetable and meat entrees. The basic rolls range from $5-$7. Special rolls range from $8-12. The sushi is simple and filling. The restaurant offers 2 or 3 item combos with many options to choose from, including chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, or even sashimi. I’d recommend the Chef Special Roll or the Caterpillar Shrimp Roll. If you are looking for a nice place to eat or a quick meal, this is the perfect place to go.
